We live in a beautiful world, and while some destroy it, others are doing their best to preserve it for as long as possible. Here are some local Somerset businesses that strive to create a better world for the future...

Help Us Plant Trees!

We are on a mission to plant as many trees as possible! Between 2001 & 2021, the UK lost 105,000 hectares of tree cover which is equivalent to a 6.9% decrease in tree cover (ForestWatch) . According to (TheDailyBark) there are currently around 3 trillion trees globally, and we cut down a huge 15 billion each year!
Although this is not a problem we can solve single handedly, every little helps!

To find out more and help us out, check out our GoFundMe and our merch page!
with you're help, we have been able to plant 32 trees already, 12 of which are in the UK!

Scoop Wholefoods
Scoop is a wholefoods shop offering, 'the UK's largest range of natural and organic whole foods in bulk. ' There is no single-use-plastic; instead, they provide you paper bags and purchasable jars for storing and transporting your goods, or you may bring your own container.
Scoops offer: 'Bulk foods', 'Household & Beauty', 'Oils & Vinegars', and 'Pantry' products, all sourced from local growers and ethical suppliers.
Our favourite food from Scoop is probably the pitted dates!
You will find their stores in both Bath and Bristol, or you can visit their website here.

Share Frome
A LIBRARY OF THINGS
Positioned at 3a The Bridge, BA11 1AR, in Jack's home town (Frome) is this wonderful library of things, with over "600 items ... From power tools to camping gear, party lighting to PA systems" that you can borrow for very affordable prices. The main aims of Share Frome are to create a community who " preserve the environment" and have a much lower carbon footprint, all simply by "resource sharing, re-using and repairing". The organisation also wish to educate the public about sustainable living and 'regenerative economy'. One of their most recent projects has been their Clothing Repair Workshop, where anyone can go along and learn the most effective ways of repairing and repurposing old clothes! We absolutely love this shop and hope you can find the time to pop in or check out there online catalogue here and borrow something yourselves (we know we will be)!
